7th Grade Pre-Algebra
- Students will have pre-algebra homework most nights. I do not assign homework on the weekends.
Students are responsible for writing down each night's assignment in their planner. Homework will be a review of what we covered in class that day.
Students should spend approximately 30 minutes on pre-algebra homework each night. If they are consistently spending a lot more time than that on pre-algebra homework, please let me know and we can discuss some modifications.

www.khanacademy.org is a good on-line resource to use when looking for an explanation of a given concept.
For the Khan Academy site each student must create an account. There is no cost. I think this site would be a very good tool for each student. Students can work at their own pace reviewing a lot of different mathematical concepts or they can zero in on an area that they find difficult.
Each student will also have access to Mathletics. Mathletics is a good site for practicing math. Students have their passwords and can log on at anytime.
Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any help to you or your students. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
During Fourth Quarter We will be working on Chapters 13, 14 and 16. We will be covering Graphing and Writing Linear Equations,Real Numbers and the Pythagorean Theorem, and Exponents and Scientific Notation.
