Students will have algebra homework most nights. Homework is not assigned on the weekends.
Students are responsible for writing down each night's assignment in their planner. Homework will be a review of what we covered in class that day.
Students should spend approximately 30 minutes on algebra homework each night. If they are consistently spending a lot more time than that on algebra homework, please let me know and we can discuss some modifications.

www.khanacademy.org is a good on-line resource to use when looking for an explanation of a given concept.
For the Khan Academy site each student must create an account. There is no cost. I think this site would be a very good tool for each student. Students can work at their own pace reviewing a lot of different mathematical concepts or they can zero in on an area that they find difficult.
Each student will also have access to Mathletics. Mathletics is a good site for practicing math. Students have received their password and can go on the site at anytime.
Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any help to you or your students. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
